Luminex

A world leader in bioassay technology, Luminex developed XMAP, an assay technology which performs laboratory tests faster and more accurately than has previously been possible. We are always interested in new and innovative things, so we were excited to work with Luminex on their annual report.

RESEARCH

We think we are pretty smart, but when it comes to bioassay testing and terminology, we fell short of anything close to a good explanation of what that might be. After some research and discovery about what Luminex does, we were able to build a better understanding of what this annual report should convey to their shareholders. A Commitment to Growth reinforced their desire to continue advancing technology as well as expanding their business model.

DEVELOPING GRAPHICS

We were challenged by Luminex to include some references to their technology which included the red beads that are used in the assay technology. We used their logo as a main image on the front cover, emphasizing the red dot and were able to incorporate the red color in areas of most importance in the report.

SHOWING OFF

We worked with our friend Sanford Shulwolf to capture some images of the technology Luminex has to offer. Here is the XMAP 3-D, shot at Luminex headquarters here in Austin.
