Smile and Freefall

I’ve recently joined the noble ranks of thrill seekers, crazy people and those who have a general disregard for the feelings of their mothers. I’m training to get my class A skydiving license, and this past weekend I completed my first semi-solo freefall and solo landing. I have a tendency to overindulge in my verbiage (which is why I don’t use twitter), so feel free to read more about my plummet to earth here.

I jumped tandem once, about 20 years ago. I friend of mine was going through a rough time and looking for BIG distractions – and friends to join her. I was the only one foolish enough to accept her invitation. Sure glad I did. It was a blast. I felt like I was on an adrenaline rush for two days.

I’ve thought about doing it again. Never thought about doing it solo.
