Back in January 2010, the Scream Team got together to discuss the coming year. “Let’s do some kick ass work this year, guys.” said Scott. And the rest of the Screamers nodded in agreement. Well, we stayed true to that goal, and we took home two golds from this past weekend’s 2011 Addy Awards.
The first was a self-promotional piece that we sent to another local business here in Austin. Their company culture vibes well with our company culture, so we produced a piece just for them to show our admiration. They liked the way we think and awarded us a new project.
The second was for the Austin Advertising Federation. The Austin Ad Fed was named 2009 ad club of the year by the American Advertising Federation. Yeah, of the whole country. Our budding city beat out New York, Chicago and LA. That’s cause for bragging, so the AAF hollered from the rooftops and held a party. The Screamer Company gave our boasting a face, creating both the award and event announcements.
